Christmas cookie time!

This year I made my holiday cookies early. I made chocolate chip, gingerbread and shortbread. Similar to my blog posts last year,   "Snow and Cookies" and "My First Blog Post - Christmas Décor", here are pics of my baking, décor and winter fun.

Lilacs Abloom

Lilacs are my favorite flower. When I was growing up we had a tree on our property and I remember the smell vividly. Here are some pictures from the spring that I wanted to share.

 And my dresser top with a vase of lilacs and a painting I did about a year ago. I also had a Bath and Body Works 'Lilac Blossom' candle and it smelled amazing!

My First Blog Post- Christmas Decor

My first blog post! Yay! I wanted to share my Christmas decor. Here are some pics of my tree with older ornaments, from our tree when I was growing up, and some that I made this week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I bought clear plastic ornaments to decorate. I glued some jute rope around one and put ribbon and feathers inside of the rest.

 

 

I added some cinnamon sticks around a candle to make it festive and brought out my 'Christmas' Bath and Body Works candle. (Cranberry Woods and Fresh Balsam)

 

I can't wait for the holidays!
